Our team is in the progress of finalizing the new depot in Mackay, all our sites include, under chassis/bus washer, spray booth, new office, training area, new booking system that links with our payroll system to manage all our accreditation requirement and driver fatigue.

This new facility is assisted by our second depot at Moranbah. Here we operate a 24hr on call management system with local drivers available at short notice. This enables us to provide adhoc & emergency services in a timely manner and with minimal disruption to the customer.

Our 24hr on call system is operated by a rotating roster between all our management staff. All member of our management team are briefed and updated with all contract obligations throughout the network to ensure the highest quality of customer service to our clients.


All of Surf City Coaches (Busit Queensland) vehicles are fitted with Navman tracking system below are a small snapshot of multiple reports that can be produced 24hrs a day.

All managers are supplied with iPhones and are able to supply information on the location of all vehicles at any time of day or night.

Activity Report – This report shows the vehicle and drivers movements per minute, including Location, Speed and Event Type. This report is used to monitor fatigue and can also be used to report on a driver’s movements across multiple vehicles.

Time Sheet Report – This shows the total number of hours the vehicle has been utilized. This report can also be created per driver to ensure they are kept within the fatigue laws.
