THE 4x4 REVELATION

Bus 4x4 Australia are the first and only company in Australia to design, under secondary manufacturing, 4WD buses based on a standard 2WD Commuter. Steve Hargreaves and the Team at Bus It Qld first thought of the bold new concept when the Mine Sites started talking about the new requirements for personnel transport. With the concept agreed, the next step was to make the vehicles a reality. When we couldn’t find exactly what we wanted in Australia or America, the decision was made to manufacture the buses ourselves. The components are manufactured in Brisbane, then the installations and fit outs carried out locally. Within six months, we had designed and manufactured the very first 4x4 Trooper.

The 4x4 Trooper Series are highly innovative solution for the Mining Industry’s requirements and a significant step forward in technology for both the Mining and the Passenger Transport Industry, complete with an extensive list of features that are above and beyond Today’s standard requirements, the Troopers offer a considerable advantage over all available similar and competing vehicles.

The 4x4 Trooper Series will be manufactured in three different model types. The first model, now available, seating 14 passengers, is a twin air-bag Commuter. The next model we will be working on is a standard 4x4 Coaster seating 20 passengers and then there will be a top of the range V8 twin turbo diesel 17 seat Coaster on the roads within the next nine months. This one is going to be perfect for safaris, all terrain tours or a major project.

The 4x4 Troopers, like Bus It Qld’s fleet are available with or without a driver. All contracts also include a strict service and cleaning schedule as per the Bus It Maintenance & Inspection Program.
